My secret is out!

I’ve always been a huge fan of fan fiction. As far back as I can remember, I’ve read it, written it and enjoyed it.

• Have you ever imagined your favorite characters in different plot-lines or even different centuries?
• Have you ever wondered what might have been, with a story you loved that ended to soon and broke your heart?
• Have you ever though there must be more to this story?

If so, and you have a talent for story telling, welcome to the club. My pen name for my own fan fiction is OathDreamer, which was inspired by my love of writing fan fiction based on the relationship between Jaime Lannister and Brienne of Tarth. Le sigh…

For the past couple of weeks, I’ve been engrossed in telling a story about their relationship and what might or could be. I’ve joined FanFiction.net and in fifteen days I’ve written over 21,000 words! I needed something to kick-start my writing love. I hadn’t written anything of substance for quite a while. With two book series’ waiting in the wings to be continued, I needed something to get my creative juices flowing again…honestly, I needed Draino! I found it in this love story.

Something I started just to oil my fingers, and my imagination, has turned into a now 8 chapter story with plenty left to come. I suppose this is my own personal NanoWrimo. So, if you love Game of Thrones and especially the relationship between Jaime Lannister and Brienne of Tarth, I intriduce to you my fan fiction story, 100 Leagues.
