In April, P.S. Bartlett launched Demons and Pearls. Since then the series has been given a fabulous new look… and a new book has been announced, Amber Wake, in collaboration with Ronovan Hester, which is due for release in Feb 2016.

Had I known the repercussions of murdering the captain of a pirate ship, I may have taken the time necessary to rethink the act. As if I’ve ever had a choice that didn’t involve a fight or at the very least, defending myself against some man, hell bent on destroying me or my kin.

All we wanted was our freedom. All we found were demons disguised as men.

A woman pirate needs friends, big strong male friends, to survive in this unforgiving land of thieves and murderers—at least until she gets on her feet. Of course, trying to find one person you can trust is like finding…

Hello Everyone,

I want to let all of you know my Historical Adventure debut novel Amber Wake: Gabriel Falling now has a release date of February 14, 2016. Yes, Valentine’s Book Tour HostsDay.  P.S. Bartlett, my co-author, and I want things to be quality. We are not rushing things for a Christmas release. A wonderful day yes, but for our first collaboration, we want it to be done right.

With that knowledge, I’ll be needing Book Blog Tour Hosts. You’ll be seeing information here on my blog leading up to the release date, but I need your help. The best way to sell a book is by word of mouth. My friends to tell their friends. One way to start that telling is by hosting a Book Tour.

I will be preparing some posts you can share. Or if you are interested in sending me questions for an interview that…

Wow. P.S. You have done it again!
I had no idea how much I missed this world until I cracked this book open. Oh, how I swoon at the language! It’s just so witty with a hint of passion that it makes me blubber like a fool. Anyway, Ivory is honestly one of the best heroines I have ever read about. I mean, what is there not to like about a female pirate?! That’s right, nothing. She is as badass as they come and I wish I could switch spots with her sometimes. Mostly on the times where a certain Blacksnake is present. Oh, baby! I won’t dare break it off with my book husband (P.S. you know who) but this man is up there in my book boyfriend list. The things he said, jeez. I don’t know how I’m not a…

I am Emma

If you’re looking for a #BEWOW Wednesday, you couldn’t possibly be any more wowed than you could be by reading what Emma has to say. So beautiful. So genuine. So perfect.

“What is your name?” someone might ask.  It’s a simple question, but when I try to make the sounds that form my name, other words push and shove their way forward.  Instead, “you may not spit,” or “Rosie’s not here!” are examples of seemingly random nonsensical, declarations that come out of my mouth.  I call these utterances my “mouth words.”  They could be seen as traitors, belligerent bullies who seek the spotlight, but they are not.  My mouth words are funny to me, but misunderstood by others. My typed words are hard for me, but understood by many.  Mouth words are witty accomplices to a mind that speaks a different language entirely.  There are no words, but instead a beautiful environment where feelings, sensations, colors and sounds coexist.  I often think if all humans could experience the world in hi-res, technicolor, surround sound as I do, everyone would be happier.  I…

#TBX – The Bastard Executioner…Cancelled? Sign the Petition to Bring Back TBX! #IWantMyTBX!

With all of the garbage on television today, how can something so stirring, thoughtful, well written and perfectly acted get cancelled? Here's how: http://www.gq.com/story/bastard-executioner-canceled "In an interview accompanying the announcement, Sutter elaborates, couching the decision in terms of utter pragmatism—"I don't want to write something nobody's f---ing watching," he said, before going on to acknowledge the …
