That too me sounds like heaven… I bet my mind would fill with creative ideas if I could grab a paper and paper and just go…
I often wonder what life would be like if I had enough money to drop everything and just follow my heart. I’d be doing it right this very moment.
Recently I was in New Orleans and we visited the Cafe Du Monde. I imagined myself alone, walking past the French Market and taking a seat outside in the corner with my beignets and cafe au lait. Writing. Just writing. You can do this at any time of the day or night there.
If I could afford such a luxury, I’d be there right now.
Sometimes my writing makes me resent my current job as my job doesn’t require me to have a pen or paper to hand if I have ideas. Money can buy you time… No wonder Stephen King is knocking out a book a month 🙂
